No send on this one but happy with the progress made in 7 attempts over 2 sessions. Decided to give this roof 12- a try a few days ago, discovered how fun it was and then learned it's getting reset this Wednesday and so I really gave it my all today. Can't thank my amazing belayer @rheannekwan enough for the support, and for encouraging me to give it this one last try (my 5th attempt of the night) which turned out to be my best run at this route!! And the best whipper I ever took 🤣

Always interesting to see a route with so many different beta options available (partially so that I can use tall person beta to skip hard parts)

Unexpected V7 send in one sesh!! Thanks @jeresupe for encouraging me to try this one for my last day here as a member. Boulder Parc will always be a bringer of jollity for me so I'll be back occasionally for sure 🥹
First 5.12+!!! Super scary route with either a very high clip off a crimp or a huge committing move to an insecure weight shift while above your last clip. Was planning on doing the high clip but my crimp felt weak so made a last second change in plan to just go for the big move. Thanks to my amazing belayer @rheannekwan for catching all my sketchy falls while I worked on this one 🥹
Getting my mileage in with my 5th 12- on indoor lead! Nice route with some scary crimpy pockets, tricky balancey volume section and a couple satisfying rockovers onto high feet. Def helps to be tall lol

Super fun crimpy V6 set with almost entirely footholds. Lots of technical moves and micro beta to figure out and the 2nd half of the climb was probably designed to give tall people hell. Pretty happy I was able to come up with my own tall person sequence to conquer this short person climb!
First time I legitimately needed to wear my chalk bag to send a boulder lol
5.12a "The Owl" at Crag Next Door
So crazy that I only just sent my first indoor 12 a few days ago and now I sent my first outdoor 12 in the same weekend. Even though it's not the prettiest send with my fail clipping at the 2nd bolt and getting so pumped at the top that I started panicking, I'm so glad to have so many supportive friends who helped me fight through this climb with their cheers.
