Congrats on 20 years @CobraLounge . Thanks for being you and all the good times. Chicago Punk and Hardcore wouldn’t be the same without you. Cheers! 🖤👉🐍🕳️

It’s hard watching your hero’s leave this realm. Knowing it is inevitable doesn’t make it any easier. Ace Frehley, like for many, made me want to play guitar as a kid, he just embodied whut cool and rock n roll was. From outlandish riffs and solos to all the smoke and sparks, He was a showman and a shining example that all the technical skill was no match for style and swagger. And that passion and having fun is where the heart should be. So, Thanks Space Ace, you were a true rocker, legend and outta this world! Rest easy.

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Ollie from Pittsburgh’s finest, Killer of Sheep. One of the most electrifying frontmen to do it. Our hearts go out his family, band and friends. Rest in Power!
One week from today, there is a special Punk Rock Tacos being thrown. It’s a benefit show for my friend Ed and his wife Jan. They are fighting the big C and can use some help from the scene they have given so much love and time to.
If you don’t know Ed, you likely know his work. He has been photographing and documenting the Chicagoland punk, metal and hardcore scene for years. And his photos have been used as promo and profile pics by myself, whut? and countless other bands and artists. Jan, Ed’s wife has shared him with all of us for countless hours of work.
So next Friday come on out and let’s show them some love. And if you have a band or business that would like to donate a raffle basket or some prizes, DM me and we can lock in a time to meet up this week.
