I painted this mural for the love of my life as part of my marriage proposal to her one year ago today. Date says 5-5, but I ended up taking her to it the same night that I painted it (5-4), in the pouring rain with my headlights illuminating it. Made her close her eyes as we pulled up and walked her over through the rain infront of it. I got down on one knee and asked her to be my wife. She thought I was taking her to see some stupid graffiti, and the car ride there was nerve racking because I had this whole plan to bring her the next day that wasn't gonna end up working out so I panicked and said I had to take her somewhere to show her something "important" or something like that right when I got home after painting it, and she did not feel like going anywhere 😅 But it was the absolute happiest day of my life when she said yes! I love you more than I can express in words @_weepingwastelands , happy first engagement anniversary 🥀🖤🥀🖤
