I'll be honest I don't always know what I'm gonna perform for my shows. The more time I have to prepare the more anxious I get because I'm tooo attached to it. To the point where I can't even enjoy just being on stage and blowing off steam which is basically why I enjoy performing. Like I think wayy toooo much and im not tryna do all that when i dance tooo.
That being said. I have yet to figure out which song will be performed for my show June 8th. But I will say it will be PERFORMEDTTTTT! 😏😏

Growing up in a woman dominated family, a woman dominated community I saw so many definitions of what it meant to be a black woman. And there was space for EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. OF. THEM. I've always carried those images and memories with me. Walking in the sun of those beautiful women who walked before me; who walk beside me. Who will walk after me. The fullness of the black woman's femininity encompasses masculinity and her capacity to house both energies in one vessel; simultaneously, fearlessly, courageously, tirelessly, boldly, exists proudly!
This performance is dedicated to us! Dedicated to my own journey of balancing my masculine and feminine energies and expressing them proudly !
