🎧 Artist Spotlight: DB Cooper (Miami)

Jared Molina, aka DB Cooper, is a Miami-based producer, DJ, and organizer rooted in the legacy of Florida dance music. Inspired by late 90s Florida sounds — Breaks, Miami Bass, IDM — his work carries that raw, regional identity forward.
Co-founder of Rumble in the Jungle, a Jungle/DnB series spotlighted in DJ Mag’s “Magic City Movers” (July 2025), and Left Hand FM, a mix platform highlighting underground dance culture, DB continues to build spaces that keep the sound alive.
Originally from NYC, his early influences came from skate and graffiti culture before fully immersing himself in Florida’s bass-driven scenes. That mix shows in his approach — treating music like a living archive, using DJ sets and productions to document, preserve, and evolve the culture.
His releases span labels like FTP, Illeven Eleven, Wile Out, and Planetaria Soundsystem (Barcelona), with his debut EP Shady Palms gaining recognition across platforms like Beatport and BBC Radio 1. From iii Points Festival stages to underground rooms across the country, DB’s sets carry history, movement, and intention.
