The work of NEXT for AUTISM and the success of events like Night of Too Many Stars are made possible thanks to ALL the stars who bring it to life. In particular, the team at White Castle has been a driving force behind the event and our mission for more than two decades. In 2025, we introduced the “White Castle Slider Cup” award to recognize an individual for their dedication and impact in supporting and elevating the autism community.
At this year’s Night of Too Many Stars in Los Angeles, we were stoked to present this year’s White Castle Slide Cup to Izzy Paskowitz, founder of Surfers Healing. Izzy, a professional surfer, and his wife Danielle founded Surfers Healing in 1996 after seeing how their autistic son responded to the ocean, “it was a therapeutic experience for him.” What started as a single surf camp has evolved into free surf camps for individuals with autism across the country.
