I became aware yesterday that the settlement for the sale of the Whitebrier has been moved to a date that will preclude our planned farewell party on April 19. While this cancellation is disappointing to those who had hoped to attend, it can never erase the fond memories that hundreds of thousands of former guests have of their time spent at the Whitebrier.

Rumors have been swirling around & I am here to confirm them. This post serves as our farewell. The Whitebrier has officially been purchased by the Philadelphia Union League. With no doubt, this is an incredible opportunity for them & the people of Avalon.
That being said, we would like to say thank you to our amazing staff throughout the years for all of your hard work. Another thank you to all of our loving customers. & one last thank you to all of our entertainers/ performers. Without each and every one of you, the journey would not have been possible.
We hope we have provided you with a place that created memories to last a lifetime.
