Last week, premiere screenings took place at the first Ukrainian LGBTQ+ film festival @sunnybunnyfest .
We are incredibly grateful to the organizers for the opportunity to be part of the program, to the media for their attention to our project, and to the audience for your emotions and support!

My very first time as a production designer in film - and it was absolutely incredible!!
We shot it back in 2025, and the premiere just happened recently at @sunnybunnyfest .
Short film “Taste of Almond” - a historical drama set in 1905 Chernivtsi, a love triangle with LGBT+ themes and a nod to the tender relationship between two famous Ukrainian poetesses. Building this world from details, images in my head, and feelings brought to life through objects - equal parts challenge and pure joy 💕
So grateful to film director @moonrease_ss , my art department, and the whole crew for this experience, trust, and energy on set ✨

They were experiments, never more; arctic shadows, forged in the cold steel of Bolvangar. Artificial daemons - the ones Mrs. Coulter would never promise to Iofur - meant to bind the panserbjørne to a dream that could never be real.

There’s no electricity, no heating, no hot water at our houses because of the ongoing missile attacs.
So we switch into “adventurer mode,” grab our tumblers with coffee, and head out onto the ice to make some beautiful memories 🤍✨
