White Doe ~ Ethical Clothing Brand

I really wish I could spend more time filming and photographing my works process. I’m such a Leo in that I have moments of wanting to share moments of the messy the studio the dyeing the love of the making, the intimacy of it all and probably 80% of the time I like to work quietly in my creative space. I know Instagram wants more obvious interactions but it’s just not me. @chloesalehphoto my wonderful photographer daughter came to visit a couple of weeks ago and in amongst celebrations and work she found time to take a few shots of some new pieces I’ve made and she shared them with me yesterday. So this is what we wait for here, when there’s a window of time, when everyone comes together, @rhiannamcewan steps forward to be my model in a miniscule amount of time. We’re looking after the babies , they’re playing a few feet from them, watching and messing around whilst the Mummas are taking time to help me share with you something that’s been waiting for this exact moment in time. When the sun comes out and everyone’s happy and contentedly playing. So this is more of a grateful post, to those of my family that constantly support and make magic happen. Hopefully it makes up for the slowness of my process. Theres so much going on atm, I have a couple of exciting projects going on in the background whilst I continue to make your orders( forever grateful) and make new pieces that are fluttering around in my head. There’s been illness and general life stuff that takes up time and delays progress, but this is what we all deal with and I can’t be anything other than my whole real human experience, forever grateful for this opportunity in life to share what I’m so passionately in love with, making clothes for real woman ( and men) that hopefully assist in making you feel as beautiful as we all individually are. Thank you so much @fromehardware for hosting our pop up in their beautiful space over the first @thefromeindependent of the year, and thank you everyone that came and tried on, took pieces home, ordered from the new collection, and came for a chat, you’ve absolutely made my weekend 🙌🏼 I’ve come away with a spring in my step 🌱 freshly inspired and ready for this new season. Can’t wait to start making your orders, but first, I’m resting my toes by the fire! (Grateful I was too busy to capture everyone trying on pieces, this was mostly captured by my daughter when she visited!)

This weekend, in the awesome @fromehardware , I’ll have a whole load of samples of the Dust & Grace collection and my best sellers for you to try on. It’s pretty rare I do a pop-up, I’m predominantly a make to order maker. And this one is a little different, because making something of everything I have and the large range of colours and sizes I make. It would be impossible for me to fund/have time to make for a pop up. So I’m doing what feels aligned with my brand and that is to give you the chance to come and try on, feel the fabrics and get sized if you want and then order what you like in the colour size that’s perfect for you. I will have a few pieces for sale a small sale/ discounted rail, a few of new cushions and some bento bags. I would love to for you to come and say hi, you never know if this is something you want and like, maybe I could do it again.
