I’m excited to share that I’ll be teaching this spring at the Fiber+ Fabric Craft Festival, the largest crafting event in the Midwest, taking place April 30–May 3, 2026 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.
The festival features 200+ classes across quilting, yarn arts, garment making, mixed media, cosplay, mindful making, and more, along with hands-on learning, industry-leading machines in classrooms, and a packed exhibit hall full of inspiration.

It has been an amazing trip to the UK. We had a wonderful time with Melissa and had so so many adventures. Today we start the journey home. Sad for this to end but also ready to be home with Doodles and a routine again. Stay tuned for what I am working on on the flight home......

The Fiber + Fabric Craft Festival is just around the corner, and we’re thrilled! Mark your calendars for April 30 to May 3 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center for a variety of classes, creative inspiration, and everything fiber-related.
I’ll be leading a session on Beginner Hand Embroidery, where you’ll master 14 essential stitches perfect for any embroidery project.
Additionally, I’ll be teaching a class on sewing an Ultimate Project Bag using Janome machines and my curated Island Batik fabric collections.
