WTS RADIO 008 - KANE KIRKPATRICK
Ahead of our show at @1990.gla this week, we’ve invited @kanekirkpatrick to record the next installation of WTS Radio.
This is a special one, recorded at @swg3glasgow last weekend.
Artist Spotlight: A Glasgow favourite, Kane Kirkpatrick is a true DJ on the decks with a keen ability when it comes to reading a room and having every dancefloor he controls filled with enjoyment whether this be playing a warm-up set or peak time. High energy, carefully executed sets have guided Kane to the very top of the Glasgow scene with no signs of stopping anytime soon.
He has played all over the globe in places such as Los Angeles, Amsterdam & Ibiza as well as on every major festival in Scotland. Blending all aspects of house music such as latin tech house, 90’s deep house, chicago house & more has allowed Kane to keep audiences on their toes as his collection spans such a vast variety of music.
Artist Spotlight: Hawko
Setting the tone for the night, Hawko brings deep, soulful house to the dancefloor to - blending classic Detroit records with the groove-driven sound that shaped the 2010s underground scene, from the likes of Innervisions and 8bit records.
He played our first night with one arm in a cast. This time, both hands on deck - and no excuse for dropping a mix.
Artist Spotlight: Marc Wesley
Having been in rotation in the Scottish scene for some time, Marc has played at some of Scotlands best events and venues such as Riverside Festival, Sub Club and SWG3. He’s also been gaining support from the scenes biggest names from Pete Tong to Marco Carola.
Hot off the back of his debut in Amsterdam at ADE, co-founder Marc Wesley joins us next week for our fist Glasgow show since our debut in London this summer.
Artist Spotlight: Matt McGuiness
Highlighting one of our resident DJs @matthewmcguiness - Matt kicked us off this time last year for our incredible launch night in Glasgow and has since further showcased his talent, warming up for Dennis Louvra and also headlining our show in London.
