The news that the @generalstoreshopsandcafe is closing is such a huge loss for our community. This place has been so much more than a shop. It’s been a gathering place, a place for events and little traditions, a place to pop into for a last-minute gift or just because you felt like wandering around somewhere lovely.
I’ve loved being a customer here, and I’ll be forever grateful to @erinhk and @deannaheacock for taking a chance on WhichCraft before it was even really a business. Because of them, what started as a hobby grew into a curated gift shop, a creative space, and a custom woodworking business, and I’ve learned so much along the way.
I’m so thankful to The General Store, to the other vendors, to Springfield Ave, and to every single person who has stopped by, shopped small, taken a workshop, ordered something custom, or supported this little dream in any way.
This chapter is ending, and that is bittersweet. But there are exciting things ahead for WhichCraft, and I can’t wait to share more with you over the next few weeks.
