This spot, this golf course, this cabin or barn or whatever you wanna call it, represents a kind of #aspiration in my adult life. Bringing my kids here to #Beavercreek for vacation for many many years, #skiing and #hiking, this #golf course and the beautiful homes on it represented a kind of #achievement. As a photographer, I always wanted to take pictures of this fairway, with the #cabin and the slopes behind it. But unless you’re a resident, there’s no place to park. So I would try to find an inconspicuous open guest parking spot and sneak onto the golf course, both in the summer and the winter, so I could quickly snap a few pictures. Now I live in #Colorado and this is my backyard. Married 32 years, three adult children, and I get to golf here. I can’t afford one of these gorgeous homes, but at least I don’t have to sneak onto the course anymore. It’s like in some small way, I belong here.

God’s power and divine nature can be seen and understood through the natural world, making it clear to everyone that He exists.

Today is our final day in Switzerland. Thun, Blausee, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, Lake Brienz, Appenzell, Fronalpstock, and Zurich - staying at the Grand Hotel Giessbach was the highlight of this Switzerland trip. The bright blue lake, the fall colors, the waterfalls and hikes right outside our door, and that amazing balcony with 180 degree views, @giessbach has it all. The views up at Grindelwald First are spectacular. The Cliffwalk is not for the faint of heart. I can only imagine how beautiful this must be in the summertime when all these hills are bright green. One of my favorite places to visit is Lauterbrunnen. The valley and the waterfalls and the chapel are so picturesque, but it’s the train to Wengen and the lift to Männlichen. The views of Grindelwald and the Lauterbrunnen valley below, are spectacular. #lauterbrunnen #grindlewald @jungfrauregion
