What we liked the most about Roald Dahl's #CharlieandTheChocolateFactory is how it taught kids the power of kindness. It will always be rewarded no matter what.
This has served as a good inner reminder in our heads to always choose what's good, even when doing wrong things seems more alluring.

🍽️ Here’s what we tried:
🥟P260 Dumplings - Serving is good for two. Soft dumpling wrap filled juicy beef
🐓P150 Crispy Chicken - Chicken fillet strips paired with a sweet and sour sauce
🍜P320 Braised Beef Noodles - Their classic version of Beef Noodle Soup. Generous amount of beef. Savory sauce that had subtle amounts of sweetness and a warm spicy flavor
🍜 P320 Beef Daoxiao Noodles - This version of the Beef Noodle Soup had chewy thick noodles instead of the usual thin ones
🍷Ambience: The restaurant had a very authentic Chinese vibe that felt like a local eatery. We came at a time when it wasn’t too crowded and enjoyed a quiet dine-in.
🗒️Customer Service: The service was fast and the staff were accommodating to our orders. They even offered extra soup with no additional cost for our takeout.
Overall, it was a very delicious dinner and the food was so filling that we were able to take home much of the noodles. Unfortunately, the Urban branch where we dined at already closed recently. But you can still visit this hidden gem of an authentic-tasting Chinese experience at their other branches:

There are complete rooms like a living area, kitchen, office space, and bedrooms which showcase how life looked like for Filipinos before.

RISOTTO WORTH COMING BACK FOR over and over – The kind that made our evening more romantic and special.
We ate at @sourdoughcafeph located in Proscenium Retail Row, Makati City!
🍽️ Here’s what we had:
🍚P580 Mushroom Risotto - Earthy, savory flavors with perfectly cooked rice
🍝P485 Bolognese Pasta - Bolognese was fairly coated in a savory meat sauce
🍕P525 Quattro Formaggi Sourdough Pizza - the blend of the four cheeses was super melted over a crisp sourdough crust
🍷Ambience: Sourdough Cafe has a laid-back ambience consisting of soft lighting and the smell of freshly baked bread and coffee.
🗒️Customer Service: The staff were accommodating to our orders and our requests.
Overall, Sourdough Café is the kind of date spot with both comfort food and a cozy atmosphere that turns simple moments into something you’ll want to linger in a little longer.
