I did a thing yesterday! Successfully defended my doctoral dissertation entitled "The Meat of the Story: Cattle Capitalism and Veterinary Public Health in Colonial Nigeria" for which I earned a PhD in International History and Politics, with the distinction "summa cum laude with special commendations” at the @graduateinstitute .
Super proud of myself for this feat, and exceedingly grateful to the Institute for awarding me its Excellence Scholarship and Teaching Assistantship to pursue this programme! I am also superb indebted in my Thesis Co-supervisors, Prof. Nguyen and Dr. Aidan Russell, as well as my Internal and External Readers, Dr. Nicole Bourbonnais and Prof. Susan D. Jones respectively.
