Wheel Fun hits the road to bring bikes, helmets, and gear to schools across Arizona — helping kids discover confidence, connection, and a love of riding. Each delivery supports the launch of a new after-school mountain bike club, giving students the chance to learn new skills, explore their community, and have fun outdoors.
Every bike drop is made possible through generous partners, volunteers, and donors who believe in the power of play and the joy of movement.

This International Family Day, we’re celebrating the "wheel fun" that happens when kids get outside. Our small team works tirelessly because we believe in our mission: Improving mental and physical health and cultivating a love for the outdoors for underserved rural Arizona youth.
By providing free mountain biking programs, we aren't just teaching a skill, we're building a community and making big dreams a reality for our local families.

Clarkdale/Jerome had an incredible spring season! Coach Marian really stepped up her coaching skills through BICP training and continues to provide the best riding experience possible for her students.
These kids learned so much through our Wheel Fun curriculum, and their riding skills are truly shining. It has been amazing to watch their confidence, teamwork, and love for biking grow throughout the season.
We are so proud of all the riders and grateful for the dedication Coach Marian brings to the program! 🚲🌟

Wheel Fun After School Bike Club at Fredonia Elementary School wrapped up the season with an awesome field trip exploring and riding around Kanab Reservoir! 🚴♂️🌲☀️
Like we always say at Wheel Fun, it’s all about the adventure. These kids have so much fun simply riding bikes, exploring new places, and making memories together.
Programs like this are only possible because of the amazing communities that support our youth. It truly takes a community to create opportunities like these and inspire kids to get outside, stay active, and enjoy the outdoors.

Adventure days hit different in Rim Country 🌲🚵
The Rim Country Middle School Bike Club headed out for another trail ride packed with climbing, laughs, teamwork, and big smiles. From winding forest singletrack to scenic stops along the way, these students are building confidence, resilience, and friendships one ride at a time.
Every ride is more than just bikes. It is about learning to encourage each other, push through challenges, explore the outdoors, and experience the kind of belonging that keeps kids connected and thriving.

Adventure is where confidence grows 🚲
Topock Elementary students wrapped up their spring season with an unforgettable ride along the Colorado River Heritage Greenway Park and Trails. Led by Coach Flick, these young riders took on the journey all the way to Davis Dam, soaking in the beauty, building skills, and sharing an experience they will carry with them long after the season ends.
This is what Wheel Fun is all about. Creating moments where kids feel strong, connected, and capable. Giving them space to explore, challenge themselves, and discover what they can do.

Wheel Fun coaches recently completed a BICP Instructor Course, a nationally recognized program focused on rider fundamentals, skill development, and effective coaching techniques.
Our goal isn’t to create mountain bikers. It’s to create spaces where kids feel seen, capable, and connected.
When coaches are equipped with the right tools and leadership skills, they build trust, inspire confidence, and help students grow both on and off the bike.
This is how programs change lives.
One coach, one connection, one ride at a time.
It doesn’t take much to change a kid’s day.
A bike.
A few friends.
Someone who shows up for them.
At Manzanita Elementary in Kingman, that’s exactly what this season has been about. Showing up, trying something new, and realizing they’re capable of more than they thought.
As they head into their final ride on May 12, it’s not really about the last day. It’s about everything they built along the way.
And that doesn’t go away when the season ends.
