Starting today, Tuesday, May 12, 2026, the Eko Bridge will be closed indefinitely according to the Lagos State Government.
Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, said motorists along Apongbon and Ijora Olopa should use Third Mainland Bridge to reach their destinations.
The inward Lagos Island carriageway will remain accessible to motorists.
