Vladimir Kagan Zoe sofa decked out in Dedar tapestry fabric and mohair, someone buy this for your treehouse. Shoutout for @susana.ines for the Dedar connection. We drew inspiration from @pierre_augustin_rose for this upholstery choice, and yes I almost bought and cut down several tapestries for this one.
Yes, this is the coolest table, sorry to everyone else who ever designed a dining table. Hand crafted by Edward Livingston in 1965, a year before he officially founded his shop Archotypo. At over 90β this generously scaled piece can handle 10-12 chairs.
This huge 1980s Vladimir Kagan (attributed) sofa has been waiting for new duds for a long time, we found an awesome Holly Hunt nubby wool fabric and think it looks great. Now to find shelf spaceβ¦ π
Iβve had the time life of my life and I owe it all to Herman Miller. By now you probably know the Time Life executive chair is one of our favorite Eames designs, they are pretty much the perfect combination of comfort, function, and durability. Here is the thing, the executive chair has wider more loungey sibling. This example is that rarely seen and no longer in production 1960s βlobby chairβ. We had some excellent 100 pecent Mohair Holly Hunt βLucaβs Loveβ fabric laying around, and decided to do it up. Itβs real good.
Here is a happy hippie table from California for your Sunday. Multi wood construction featuring redwood, maple, and oak with lots of fun brass screws. βοΈ 1970s
Mario Bellini βBamboleβ sofa by B&B Italia ca 1970s This particular example is extremely comfortable and upholstered in a nice checker Belgian linen. Later on Bellini redesigned the Bambole series and for some reason decided to make the design less comfortable. Sooo if you want a comfy Bambole thatβs like a cloud, get a first gen!
Brent Bennett custom dining/game table, 2013
π π π this table would be great inside or outside and is a beautiful example of Bennettβs work, a master ceramicist who has been active in California since 1958.
