Our boat has a full galley, clean restrooms, and both indoor and outdoor seating, but here’s some advice about what to bring with you on the day of your trip! We recommend: ☑️Yes, a light jacket, even on the hottest summer day! And if it’s chilly, more layers and perhaps a hat and gloves. 🧥 ☑️Medications, baby formula, specialty dietary supplies. 🍼 ☑️A hat- consider one that is less likely to blow away during the windy transit! 🌬️ ☑️Flat, closed-toed shoes. The last thing you want on a moving boat is unstable footwear 👠 ☑️Sunscreen/lip balm with SPF 🧴 ☑️Phone charger-we have outlets available! 🔌 ☑️Hair ties, headbands, and sunglasses 😎 ☑️Camera and an extra battery and memory card (trust us on this one) 📸 ☑️Cash/card for snack bar purchases 🥨 ☑️ A book, coloring materials, or small tabletop toy. We provide LOTS of on board activities, but you know your family’s needs best! 🪀 🤩And of course, your sense of adventure! The whales are wild animals and every trip is truly different from the last. Did we forget anything? Have a question? Send us a DM and we’ll help you plan the perfect trip! 🐋 #capecod #capecod #VisitCapeCod #travel #wildlife #wildlifelovers #getoutside

You could say day one of the 2026 season was a success! With two humpback whale mother-calf pairs, two exceptionally curious grown humpbacks, and a pod of Atlantic white sided dolphins, we were absolutely spoiled. One more day! We're looking forward to some beautiful weather in the coming days! We'd love for you to join us; tickets are available at P.S. Did you know that whales have the same bones in their flippers as we do in our arms and hands, except for the thumb? #whale #whalewatching #wildlife #ocean

You might know that humpback whales can be identified by the natural markings, but sometimes it takes us a bit of thinking before we're able to make a match. We code the flukes by type: Type 1 is an all white fluke, Type 2 is 25% black, Type 3 50% black, Type 4 75% black, and Type 5 is completely black. These placeholders help us assign a temporary label if we need some time to identify an individual. We are very much looking forward to discovering who is out there this weekend! You can tell by the rapid camera shutter snaps that Salt the humpback whale is quite popular. Well, this beloved dame has returned to the northeast! She was first spotted by our friends at Center for Coastal Studies and we are hoping she sticks around- we’d love to see her once we start our whale watch trips in a couple of weeks! May 16th is Opening Day and we are so ready to get back on the water! Tickets and full details are available at . Today is Right Whale Day in Massachusetts! Enjoy this clip of three right whales passing by the beach as they skim feed on plankton. 23 calves born in the 2025-2026 season gives us renewed hope for a recovery of the population. 🖤 #rightwhales #capecod #whales
