It was a Great Day for a Great Relay! Thanks to all of our swimmers and supporters for making our Los Angeles event meaningful, impactful and inspiring!
Swimmers donât quit sets⌠we just strategically disappear and come back like nothing happened đ
Coach: âWhereâd you go?â
Me: âHydration check.â đ§
Real ones know⌠sometimes the hardest part of practice isnât the setâitâs holding it together until the wall đ

Consistency isnât loud. It doesnât always come with big wins, fast times, or recognition. Most days, itâs quietâitâs showing up early, pushing through tired legs, and choosing discipline when motivation fades.
In swimming, progress doesnât happen overnight. Itâs built lap by lap, rep by rep, day after day. Some practices will feel great. Others wonât. Thatâs part of it. Trust the process anyway. The hard days are not setbacksâtheyâre the foundation.
When it feels tough, when the clock isnât showing what you want, when doubt creeps inâthatâs when it matters most. Show up. Stay locked in. Keep working.
Because the athletes who succeed arenât the ones who only train when itâs easyâtheyâre the ones who stay consistent when itâs not.
Trust your work. Stay patient.

Sometimes you just need to log off, tune out, and dive in đ
Swimming isnât just a workoutâitâs a full reset. No notifications, no noise, just you, your breath, and the water. For a little while, everything else fades away⌠and honestly, thatâs where the magic happens.
The water slows you down, clears your mind, and helps you let go of stress you didnât even realize you were holding onto. Itâs like hitting a reset button for both your body and your mood.
Even a quick swim can leave you feeling lighter, calmer, and more like yourself again.
So if life feels a bit too loud lately⌠maybe itâs not about doing more. Maybe itâs about stepping away, unplugging, and letting the water take over đ #swimming #swim #swimmer #mindfulness #reset
Swimmers, your health is your superpower đââď¸â¨
Long hours in the water can be amazing for endurance, but donât forget what happens outside the pool matters just as much. Stay hydratedâyes, even when youâre surrounded by water. Your body still loses fluids and electrolytes during intense sessions.
Fuel smart: balance your meals with protein for muscle recovery, complex carbs for energy, and healthy fats for overall performance. And donât skip post-swim recoveryâstretching helps prevent stiffness and keeps your strokes smooth.
Protect your skin and hair too. Rinse off chlorine right after practice and use a good moisturizer to keep your skin from drying out.
Most importantly, listen to your body. Rest days arenât a weaknessâtheyâre where growth happens.
Train hard, recover smarter, and keep gliding stronger every lap
