Running a small business is really hard and there are often so many challenges to face. But when your mum is the inspiration for your business and joins you at events, that’s the best feeling. Breast cancer is such a shitty thing and we’re so grateful that we get to do what we do. #breastcancerawareness #checkyourboobs #breastforms #mastectomy #wewearboost #supportingconfidence #productdesign #inspiredbymum

Glitter boobs are officially here! Are you getting ready for summer festivals, holidays or parties? Or perhaps you just want something a bit glam in your every day bra? They are very difficult to make (and drove Chris our engineer a little bit crazy!) but we’ve finally been able to release a limited stock of specially hand-molded black glitter mandala breast forms and they are live right now! #glitter #breastforms #wewearboost #breastcancer #mastectomy

Huge congratulations to Boost customer Paula who completed her wing walk challenge this week. Paula was raising money for the @worcestershirebreastunit charity, and we think she deserves a huge shout out on our socials. Not only has she raised money, she’s taken her Boost where no Boost has gone before! Paula says “In March 2020 I found a lump in my breast when showering. I didn’t think it was of any concern as I had had a routine mammogram 2 months earlier. In May 2020, I mentioned it to my gp when I was talking to her about something else. She thought it was nothing to worry about but did a referral to Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven (WBUH) to check. Exactly 2 weeks later I went to my appointment. I was examined, I had an ultrasound scan and biopsy and then a mammogram. I was then told, there and then, that I had breast cancer. I later found out that I had dense breast tissue and cancer is very difficult to detect in the tissue and quite often doesn’t show up on mammograms. My diagnosis was followed by 16 rounds of chemotherapy, a mastectomy and then 15 blasts of radiotherapy. During my treatment I was given details about all of the amazing support provided by WBUH.” Paula has written a blog for us, which is live on the website now with a link to her fundraising page. Please take a look! #wewearboost #mastectomy #breastcancer #fundraiser #wingwalking

Yesterday we joined some of our most favourite people to take over a London Boutique for a Mastectomy Makers Market. Not only did we showcase what Boost does (did you notice the recycled Boost beads on the necklaces?) but we got to join in the larger conversations. While breast cancer is such a shitty thing, there are so many of us now joining up to deliver better products, more choice and meaningful campaigns and advocacy. We will be the change in the world that we want to see. That’s why we started our businesses, charities, research projects and networks. We will work together - we have a shared mission. Bras on the table are by @her_bodywear Swimwear on the table by @ladysurvivorsswimwear Recycled silicone beads exclusively designed and made by Evie for Boost Huge thanks to @enoeco_ for organising and @flatfriendsuk for your powerful talk. #breastcancerawareness #breastforms #breastcancer #mastectomy #womensupportingwomen

Still a game changer. After sharing this before, I had so many messages — so I wanted to show you a bit more. The flexibility, the comfort, the lightweight feel… it really made such a difference to me. After surgery, I tried the standard prosthesis — and personally, I found it heavy and quite hard going, especially on my chest. As someone who loves swimming, that was a big thing. Finding something that felt lighter, more comfortable, and allowed me to move more freely… changed everything. It gave me confidence to get back in the water and feel like me again. And honestly — I love the designs too. Funky, different, and just a bit more you. Check out Sometimes it’s the practical things that make the biggest impact. #RecoveryReality #BreastCancerSupport #PracticalSupport #bbtogether #BreastBuddyUK Have you found anything that’s helped you feel more comfortable or confident day to day?

While all the Met Gala outfits seemed to have breast shapes on display, we thought we’d take the opportunity to share some amazing outfits of our own. Wearing your Boosts under your clothes provides a subtle, natural and comfortable shape as these wonderful women show. Can’t see that they are wearing a Boost? That’s the whole point. (Huge thanks for letting me share your gorgeous photos) #notametgalaoutfit #metgala #breastforms #breastcancerawareness #wewearboost

When you are a small business that makes your own products things can be tricky! While other people might manufacture stuff in bulk and import it in to resell, or mass produce products in large factories. Boost breast forms are made by us and designed by us in the UK and loads of work goes into keeping things moving. We love what we do! #breastforms #mastectomy #breastcancer #breastasymmetry #supportingconfidence

Not sure how to pop your Boost in your bra? Our tip is to pop the strap off your shoulder so you can push your Boost down into the bra cup with ease. Boost shown is an XL mandala in pink in a 36 G bra. #breastforms #mastectomy #breastcancer #breastasymmetry #supportingconfidence
