Apparently, we should all be fresh and fit in January (and more so in February). That is not the case here. Weāll blame our client Regroup, but we can also blame ourselves. After a stellar year, Regroup ended 2025 by kicking off a bike fitting project, going from nothing to a custom bike fitting studio at its Tempe, Arizona, location in less than 4 weeks. And we mirrored Regroup in the virtual world, tasked as we were with developing bespoke bike fitting software, for the bike fitter (the legendary Barry Anderson), and the client.
So we spent a large part of December doing just that, designing, coding and deploying a set of digital tools that allowed Regroup to hit the road rolling in January. It must be said that the client experience is top-notch. And the fluidity the tools afford Barry and his team keep him in the moment with the client, where he so loves to be.

Up and over in Canada, apparel brand @7meshinc needed some big words for a big move. Known as a bike brand first, the founding team at 7mesh had nevertheless started their careers at outdoor giant Arcāteryx, where they variously made amazing products, led the company as a CEO in the case of Tyler Jordan, and more.Ā
In a homecoming of sorts, 7mesh had been working behind the scenes on a product range that would extend past the bike, to run and ski. Earlier this year, the product and marketing teams at 7mesh came to us to help with the launch of this new landmark collection, codename āGuardianā.
Starting with deep research, we developed product names, hero straplines, wider copy, punchy social snippets, and more over the course of a fast 30 days, providing everything 7mesh would need to present the new range with the heft it deserved.

With new owners at the helm, Parlee needed a leg up to marry its site, structure, and style to the refined aesthetic and design language of its bikes. Andy is worried about where weāve parked our van. āWere there any signs?ā he asks. Flush with the excitement of landing a dream park amidst the busy roads of Basel, we proudly tell him no, no signs to speak of. This upsets him. āOh dear, oh dear. But there were some road markings, yes?ā Adam and I look at each other, then down at our feet - no road markings. Andy seems to grow taller before our eyes. āEven worse! Youād better bring it in here.ā
And then heās laughing at us. Adam and I are laughing, but I can tell from his eyes as we walk back to retrieve our vehicle and drive it into Openās offices that heās plotting how to throw me under the rented minivan for the parking faux pas. Not if I get there first.

Yesterday, we flew from London to Basel for a quick interview and shoot with @opencycle for @regroupwithus . Later, we all had gelato and Andy from Open paid with his very own ice cream currency. Such things are possible in Switzerland. Weāll have the piece up on the Regroup site just as soon as weāve whipped up some cone-worthy words.
Arizona is the place to be in February - and not just because itās 25 degrees and easy-breezy. For bike fans, thereās the Regroup in the Desert show, a concept we helped our client, @regroup_coffeeandbicycles , create off the back of building a new website and writing a lot of copy. We even interviewed a senator along the way. The show took place this past weekend and it was a lot of fun, a lot of learnings and in all the ways that matter, a hit, its success fuelled by Regroupās already thriving community and incredible, inspiring team.
