It is time for a proper throwback Thursday!
On the 25th of April some of us ran the Bergen City Marathon, some of us were on the side, rooting for them... and some of us waited patiently at the café for everyone to arrive...

No training this Tuesday 😭
But this is the best excuse to congratulate our Level 1!
During last Tuesday's practice they all officially graduated to Level 2, got their mouthguards and actively partook to their very first all levels scrimmage! 🎉
Oh, they grow up so fast 🥲

We tried the new team name cues trial from WFTDA this weekend in Antwerp.
Instead of blue or white our cue was: Bergen! 🏔️ Everyone wrote the cue on their helmets 🦄
Have you tried playing or reffing with the new trial?

All bodies are different. Do trans and intersex people have an intrinsic unfair advantage in women's sports? No. We speak from experience: Roller derby might just be the sport with the most active trans people.
Excluding trans women from women's sports hurts anyone who does not conform to a narrow understanding of gender, and it is racist. True inclusion involves embracing diversity. Come on, @olympics !

When you try to take a picture of Oslo officials and head ref insists on being in it and then two full teams bomb your photoshoot. What a fun chaos to end a day of three good games (although why did one of them feel like at least two?)
