This morning, Westside residents, community members, and business and civic leaders convened for another important community conversation at the Transform Westside Summit.
We had the opportunity to hear from Sterling Johnson, Lisa Flowers, and Michael Lucas on the importance of housing stability in keeping families anchored in the communities they know and love.
We're grateful to everyone who continues to lean in, month after month, to advance the vision of a stronger, more connected Westside. Your presence and commitment are what make this progress possible. Thank you for joining us.
If you couldn't make it, don't worry! You can still watch the full Summit on our YouTube at the link in our bio.

Last month, we gathered at Westside Motor Lounge for our Friends of the Westside Celebration โ an evening to thank the donors, partners, and neighbors who make this work possible.
Hearing from homeowners putting down roots, partners who have walked this journey with us, and folks who serve this community every day was a reminder of what Dr. King called the inescapable network of mutuality. Whatever affects one directly affects all indirectly. The restoration of Atlanta's historic Westside is a shared calling.
As we enter the final stretch of our Our Next Chapter campaign, we are deeply grateful for every friend who has helped carry this work forward โ and for the legacy residents whose vision and perseverance anchor everything we do.
If you believe in the impact of this work, believe in the restoration of these historic neighborhoods, and want to help us close out this campaign, visit the link in our bio to continue this work with us.
Thank you for being a Friend of the Westside.

Last month, Westside Future Fund and Intercontinental Exchange came together for a third consecutive year to host a Day of Service on Atlanta's historic Westside.
More than 200 volunteers, community members, and corporate partners joined us for beautification, gardening, and student support projects at two cornerstone community sites: Truly Living Well and M. Agnes Jones Elementary School.
Sustained partnerships like this one are how we advance restoration without displacement for legacy residents and the neighborhoods we serve. We're deeply grateful to all those who continue to lean into this work together as we restore the historic Westside community Dr. King would be proud to call home.

This past Saturday, Westside Future Fund's Home on the Westside team joined more than 400 City of Atlanta and Atlanta Public Schools employees at the Public Employee Housing Expo โ connecting public servants with the resources, partners, and pathways to make homeownership on Atlanta's historic Westside a reality.
It was an incredible day of conversations with teachers, first responders, and city employees who keep Atlanta running every single day. They deserve the chance to put down roots in the communities they serve, and Home on the Westside is built to help them do exactly that.
Thank you to Mayor Andre Dickens and every partner who made this event possible. Atlanta's public employees show up for us โ we're proud to show up for them.
"Economic development starts at the table."
At April's Transform Westside Summit, we were reminded that real economic mobility requires more than business development โ it requires every resident understanding how the system works, and having a seat at the table to shape what comes next.
That's how we build a historic Westside where legacy residents are positioned to participate in opportunity, not just witness it.
April is National Fair Housing Month โ a moment to reflect on the advocacy that reshaped access to housing in America, and the work still ahead.
On Atlanta's historic Westside, that work is critical. These neighborhoods carry the legacy of redlining and disinvestment, and they also carry generations of families who have built lives, relationships, and history here.
At Westside Future Fund, fair housing is a daily commitment to restoration without displacement โ making sure that as the Westside grows, longtime residents have the tools to stay and thrive.
Read more about why fair housing is foundational to our work on our Stories of Impact blog at the link in our bio.
As National Volunteer Month comes to a close tomorrow, we're reflecting on a simple truth: the historic Westside's restoration is a shared effort, and it's an effort that spans year-round.
Every hour given and every connection made โ whether on a Saturday clean-up, at a school field day, or at the Transform Westside Summit โ helps move this community forward. Together.
To our volunteers: thank you. To anyone who's been looking for a way in: there's a place for you to be part of our mission to restore the historic Westside to the community Dr. King would be proud to call home.

Another powerful Transform Westside Summit in the books.
This month's conversation centered on economic mobility and opportunity โ with a focus on how the Westside is preparing to be "World Cup ready" and ensuring residents, businesses, and neighborhoods are positioned to benefit from the global moment ahead.
We're grateful to everyone who joined us for this important conversation. Missed the Summit? Read a recap or watch the full Summit on our Stories of Impact page at the link in our bio!
