Westsiders had their first competition of the season✨ We received numerous awards and scholarships, but the most exciting part was watching this group of dancers find their artistic voice togetherđź«
Highlights include : Junior Critic’s Choice, Junior Overall High Score, Teen Critic’s Choice, Teen Overall High Score, Senior Critic’s Choice, Senior Overall High Score, Artist of the Weekend, Junior High Score Soloist, Teen High Score Soloist, 21 overall solo placements (14 in top 10), 3 Outstanding Dancer Winners, and numerous other scholarships
We are officially looking for new movers to join us for an incredible season ahead! The work featured in this reel is an ambitious 18-minute commissioned work by the visionary Juliano Nunes—and this is just the beginning!
Next year, we are planning on more commissions by today’s most prevalent choreographers as well as an additional Westside show in a black box theater.
