Since our last update, excavation is now complete, the crane is up, and we’ve started on footings. The rebar currently in place will form the 12-storey concrete core — the backbone of our first mass timber (CLT) rental community.

We’re excited to share a milestone for our latest rental community in Surrey by West Fraser Developments.
On Monday, the project received Third Reading from the City of Surrey, marking an important step forward as we move toward bringing this development to life.
The community is designed to deliver high-quality rental housing while adding meaningful amenities for the surrounding neighbourhood. The project will feature:
• A mix of 1, 2, and 3 bedroom rental homes
• Ground-floor commercial space to activate the street and serve the community
• A dedicated daycare, helping support local families
As Surrey continues to grow, we believe thoughtful, community-oriented development plays an important role in building vibrant and livable neighbourhoods.
