Hold onto your boots folks, Western Wears leather shop is about to open back up for business! I haven’t cracked a lid on the totes filled with boots, belts, leather, and shop tools in TWO AND A HALF YEARS!! Mostly because I didn’t have time or space - now I finally have a work space set up again and more free time so I can get back to crafting. .
Our new home in Idaho had a large barn/shop building with a nice cement floor center shop that my dad helped me finish this week. We put a door on the front where a window had been and closed in all the walls where they were open too other parts of the building. Moved in some shelving and a work bench and VOILA! .
It’s not beautiful by any means but it’s functional and it’s (fairly) secure from weather and critters! .
I have big plans for new things to come out of this shop and can’t wait to get started, maybe even before baby arrives but certainly after. Keep an eye on me - new things coming!

Ahh, it felt good to be back in the shop (very briefly...) I was asked to donate a pair of boots to an organization we do a fundraiser for every year that's having their event tonight. Aiming for a Cure is a great group with a really wonderful cause - check them out. If you're able to attend the (super fun) event tonight, these babies will be up for auction!

You can never go wrong with a LBD. It's so easy to dress up or down and accessorize. Mine went great with my favorite fringe duster, Old Gringo boots, concho belt and mother of Pearl vintage squash.
Another casual outfit from the weekend and it all revolved around this amazing bolo! It's as big as the palm of my hand with crushed turquoise in the center - I have never seen anything like it, so naturally I had to buy it! I'm such a sucker for unique vintage pieces. #bolo #vintagejewelry
