First up is the spectacular new musical sensation: The Greatest Showman! Fresh from its world premiere in Bristol, this exciting stage adaptation brings the magic of the beloved hit film to life with unforgettable music, dazzling performances and a powerful story about ambition, imagination and celebrating what makes us unique. Designed for young performers, ages 6 - 17, who want more than just a summer workshop or camp, West End Week focuses on real training in acting, singing, dancing and performance technique used on professional stages. Established in 2012, we have supported hundreds of young performers, many of whom have gone on to further training and careers in the industry. CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG MASTERCLASS with Resident Choreogroaher and Swing, Anthony Whiteman (he/him) 🌟 We are thrilled to introduce the incredible Anthony - a creative force whose career spans the West End stage, international choreography, and now the next generation of performer training. A highly respected freelance creative practitioner and educational leader, Anthony currently serves as Vice Principal, Creative Course Director, and Head of Musical Theatre at romtheatrearts. He has further cemented his expertise by earning his MA in Dance Education from University for the Creative Arts. Before stepping into leadership, Anthony enjoyed a successful performing career in the West End, with standout credits including: • Billy Elliot the Musical (Victoria Palace Theatre) • The Wizard of Oz (London Palladium) • White Christmas (Dominion Theatre) • …alongside numerous UK touring productions But Anthony’s impact extends far beyond performance. Next up is the magical musical adventure: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! Based on the beloved story by Roald Dahl, this fantastical tale follows young Charlie Bucket as he discovers one of the five golden tickets hidden inside a Wonka chocolate bar. Alongside a group of very unusual children, Charlie is invited to explore the mysterious and magical chocolate factory owned by the eccentric Willy Wonka; where chocolate rivers flow, sweets grow on trees and the Oompa Loompas keep everything running… in their own unique way! In this imaginative workshop, students will explore singing, acting and movement FROM this magical musical - building confidence, creativity and essential performance skills in true West End style.
