Our commitment doesn’t stop at the end of Safety Week. It is built into everything we do, every day. A special thank you to our crews, foremen, and safety leads for keeping each other accountable. You are the reason we build with confidence. We were proud to be, “All In Together” with the construction industry as we Recognize, Respond, and Respect the high-energy hazards our crews face every day on the jobsite.
Together works better. West Construction has been selected to build the Goodwill Opportunity Campus. The campus will act as a hub for personal development, offering streamlined access to health care, child care and education services. Goodwill Southeast Georgia is joining forces with 13 permanent partners who will have office space on campus, along with upwards of 30 drop-in partners ready to serve the community.
The project is a 130,000 SF renovation and renovations are set to begin this Summer on the Wheaton Street building, with the facility hoping to open its doors to the public in 2027. We are thrilled to partner with Goodwill to accomplish their goal to give Savannah residents everything they need to become self-sufficient. @goodwillsoutheastga
Zero incidents isn’t an accident. Five AGC Corporate Safety Awards. Five consecutive years of consistent focus, attention to detail, and hard work.
Today’s Safety Week focus on emergency evacuation drills put our commitment into practice, with every project team running a full response exercise. Our Sabal House crew set the bar with a complete evacuation in just six minutes, showing what strong preparation and teamwork can achieve.
National Safety Week 2026. Safety on the job site isn’t just a rule. It is how we take care of our own. We kicked off National Safety Week with a company-wide safety stand down with a focus on fall protection. Sending everyone home safely is job#1.
For over a decade, we’ve helped build nonprofits rooted in purpose and stewardship, spaces that strengthen our community. Nonprofit work is unique and complex, and partnering closely with stakeholders to make decisions is what we do. With 20 projects completed for 9 separate organizations built across Savannah, this work reflects both our expertise and our deep pride in a city full of generosity and talent.

“The extra mile is never crowded.” An incredible visit from Nick Westbrook! Nick is a shepherd, leader, communicator, and podcast host who has built a legacy from football coach to Chick-fil-A franchisee and now renowned speaker. Nick sat down with our team and led us in a conversation about what true excellence looks like. We are so grateful for his time, his wisdom and his local presence in our community.

Building community. We broke ground on the expansion of Union Mission’s Magdalene House, a safe haven for mothers and children experiencing homelessness in Savannah. The project includes 2 new family bedrooms, 8 fully renovated suites with private baths, 2 kitchens, 2 laundry rooms, and a computer lab all built to be durable, secure, and warm. Last year, 36 moms and 69 children were served here, and 98% moved into stable housing. Thank you to our partners and the community who have joined us in supporting Union Mission.

Setting the stage. Every placement and detail is built to match the distinction of the largest and most comprehensive film studio complex at any university in the country. Today’s install was the cupola on SCAD backlot building 15.
We are grateful to SCAD for the trust placed in our team, and proud of the team that consistently shows up and executes every detail. More to come from this creative collaboration.

Our company’s passion project 🩵 Union Mission’s Emergency Housing Program is expanding and West Construction is proud to be providing substantial in-kind labor and resources as an investment in our community and a testament to the importance of Union Mission’s impact.
The project will add new family bedrooms, renovate all eight family suites with private bathrooms, and create upgraded shared spaces designed for connection and healing. When complete, the facility is expected to serve more than 10 additional mothers and 20–30 additional children each year.
This Easter, West Construction is honored to be part of the rebuilding of historic Wesley Monumental, a beautiful place of worship for our community since 1890.
When the historic ceiling collapsed in July, Congregation Mickve Israel opened their doors across the street, welcoming their Methodist neighbors. SCAD then stepped forward this Lenten season opening the doors of the historic Lucas Theatre for Easter Sunday worship.
West Construction continues their work to restore this 1890 landmark, while pausing to appreciate our community’s demonstration of neighborly love and faith.
Wishing all our neighbors a blessed and beautiful Easter weekend. He is risen.
