Want to thank my great friend Wayne Endicott @wayneendicott1354 . He told me about his adventures to Kodiak. I mentioned how I would love to make the trip someday. A couple years later he made it happen. Thanks again brother!!
Well Kodiak didn’t disappoint. It was everything I thought it would be and then some. I harvested my first Sitka Blacktail deer and had quit the adventure. Met new life long friends. If you get the chance follow Born and Raised Outdoors. They will have a lot of the adventures on YouTube and their podcast.
Wow, I can’t believe it’s been 40 years. I remember it like it was yesterday. Pouring rain on the way to church. You beginning to cry as you walked down the aisle. I asked if you were ok, and you said yes I’m happy. The time spent with family and friends after at the resort. Thank you for being my wife, my best friend, mother to our children and grandma to the littles. What do you say we go for another 40 Miss Kay? We will be just about 100 years old then. Happy Anniversary!
Last week is still pretty surreal. My friend Evan Hafer @evanhafer invited me on a bear hunt with some of the crew at Black Rifle. A couple days later I found myself on a flight headed to Alberta, to meet up with some long time friends John and Jenn Rivet and family. Thank you Evan @evanhafer@blackriflecoffee for this amazing hunt. I don’t use the phrase “Epic” very often but this hunt was that and then some. I met more life long friends, and oh! I was able to find this beast! #blackriflecoffee #blackrifleoutdoors @evanhafer@johnnyrivet@jennrivet_@jennarivet@jewliarivet@hey_its_rivet
