We always love seeing the images come back once a project is finished. It’s the point where you can see how the kitchen will really be used. This one was built around handcrafted oak cabinetry, made and fitted by our team, with stainless-steel worktops running through the space. Stainless steel carries across the island, while exposed brick and a rooflight bring light and texture into the room. If you’re working on a kitchen plan, get in touch, and we can chat it over. This week marks ten years since we incorporated, and it’s crazy to think how many homes and lives have been built around the bespoke kitchens we’ve made in that time. Weekday dinners, slow Sundays, birthday cakes, homework, pets under your feet, friends leaning on the island for a chat. The kitchen stays busy, and that’s the point. Thank you to our clients, collaborators, neighbours, and everyone who’s popped into the workshop or followed our work. We’ve been lucky with the people around us. Ten years in, and we’ve got plenty more taking shape in our South London workshop.

We are hiring | Furniture Designer We are a small, close-knit team specialising in high-end bespoke kitchens and furniture, designed and built from our studio and workshop in Kennington Park. We are passionate about craftsmanship, materials, and thoughtful design, and we'd love someone who shares that. This is a full-time, studio-based role. It is predominantly a technical position. You'll use SolidWorks and SWOOD to model kitchens and furniture, producing concept designs and technical production drawings. Day-to-day you'll be sketching, rendering, and producing technical drawings, working closely with our makers in the workshop to bring designs to life with precision. There will also be the opportunity for project management and client interaction. The ideal candidate will have experience using SolidWorks within a bespoke furniture environment, ideally kitchens, and experience with SWOOD would be a real advantage. We value technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly just as highly as years of experience. To apply, please send your CV and portfolio to [email protected] - we'd love to hear from you. #hiring #furnituredesigner #bespokekitchens #joinery

Doors open, someone reading in the next room, the garden just beyond. This is what open-plan living looks like when it works. We love designing kitchens that feel properly connected to the rest of the home. Spaces that are used, shared and part of everyday life.

A kitchen does not have to be quiet to feel like home. This one is full of colour and life and botanical chaos, and it is one of the most comfortable rooms we have ever made. You walk in and you want to put the kettle on. The wallpaper settles into the background. The green starts to feel completely natural. Spring, essentially, all year round. There is no standard version of what we do. Every line is considered in relation to the room. From the painted cabinetry to the drawer interiors and fitted storage, each element is made for the way the space will be used. Built in our South London workshop, every part is cut, fitted and finished by hand for one kitchen and one home only.

Spring arrived and we immediately thought of this kitchen. Green cupboards, blossoms on every wall, lemons and birds and butterflies wherever you look. May felt like the best time to bring this one back. The Josef Frank wallpaper was the starting point, with the pale stone, zellige tiles and warm oak falling into place around it. We’re still rather smitten with it. Full project in the link in bio. Photography by @snookphotograph Interior design and styling by @lucyvdginteriors

Warm walnut, cool stone, and a wall of crittall bringing the garden straight in. This is Courtnell Street - a fully bespoke, handcrafted kitchen designed around the way one family lives in their home. Photography @snookphotograph

Think about the first thing you do every morning in the kitchen. Before you've properly woken up, your hand is already on a door. The weight of it. The way the handle sits. That quiet, solid close. We spend a surprising amount of time on these moments, the touchpoints you interact with before the day has even started. The ones that make a kitchen feel considered, or just slightly off. Get them right, and you stop noticing them altogether. Which is exactly the point. Photographer: @snookphotograph

Ask anyone who has lived with a really well-designed drawer and they'll tell you - it changes the whole feeling of the kitchen. Ours are hand-crafted, sized to your exact dimensions and built around how you actually use the space. A small thing that turns out to be one of the details people love most. We'd love to hear what you're planning. The details are always our favourite part. Photographer: @snookphotograph

Do you hide everything away, or do you like to see the things you love? Most people want a little of both. Tall cupboards for everything that lives out of sight. A glass-fronted section for the pieces that belong in the room - the ones that make it feel like home. Getting that balance right is one of our favourite parts of the process. If this has you thinking about your own kitchen, do get in touch. Our team is always happy to chat. Photographer: @snookphotograph

Honestly, this is the corner we'd never leave. There is something about warm brass, beautiful glazed tiles and a range you actually look forward to cooking at that makes you want to invite everyone over, open a bottle of something good and spend the whole evening in the kitchen. Which, when you think about it, is exactly the point. Photographer: @snookphotograph
