Congratulations to all of our graduates for this amazing accomplishment. We love our grads and we are sad to see them go, but we are so excited to see where God is calling them in this next chapter!
Here are a few words from Zoe Kraus for our final worship wrapped!
Our last Tuesday worship was our grad night! We recognized those graduating in May and August. In the sermon, we learned about how to navigate our inability to control the future as well as trusting God in transitions. We heard scripture from Joshua 1:1-9. My biggest takeaway was how critical community is to handling feeling out of control. We also heard a faith share from several students, and got to see a student baptized! To wrap up the night, we prayed over several students including our graduates, missions team, new discipleship coordinator, and those working in camps this summer. Overall, it was a wonderful night full of wisdom and celebration!
This past Tuesday we got to investigate what happened to the disciples after the resurrection. Here is John telling us a little more about the journeys that the apostles made and how we can reflect that in our own lives.
We can't wait to see you next Tuesday at 7 for our final worship and grad night!
Wesley touches grass!!
We had a great weekend at Old Stone Fort. We enjoyed spending so much time in God's creation and spending time in fellowship with one another!
Instead of our regular worship last week, Wesley went to the Bolt Awards. We had a great time celebrating the amazing student and organizations on our campus. We even got a few nominations ourselves!!
We can't wait to see you next week for our regularly scheduled weekly events!!
This past Tuesday, we celebrated the resurrection of Christ at our yearly EASTEROO.
We finished our sermon study on the book of John and we got to celebrate Brooklyn's baptism.
This past Tuesday, we continued our study of the book of John. We invite you to join us in our journey by reading a chapter a day with us in the GroupMe.
We would love to hear your thoughts and reflections from Worship. If you would like to help with our Worship Wrap please reach out to Liv or August. You can do your wrap in a video, a paragraph, or any way you feel called.
We hope to see you next week as we go into Holy Week at Wesley!
Come hangout with us for a night of fellowship and entertainment. Our annual coffee house night is coming up and you don't want to miss it!
If you have something you would like to share, make sure to sign up in the auditorium. It can be literally anything. We have people that sing, do impressions, give presentations or tier lists, or even cockroaches throughout the building (please don't hide cockroaches throughout the building).
Make sure that you sign up to run, walk, skip, roll, or cartwheel in our pot of gold 3k!
All proceeds will go directly to funding our mission team going to Guatemala this summer. It is going to be a great day and it's a great way to support Wesley!
We had another amazing worship this past Tuesday. If you've never been to a mad lib worship at Wesley, we all put suggestions for sermon topic, music style, and activity into a hat and our worship team pulls them out randomly and creates a service. It is always an interesting night and we definitely all had a great time.
Reminder that the building will be closed this week, but we can't wait to see y'all at worship next week!
