Grammy flashback….2021 when we was nominated for a Grammy for Best American Roots Performance. I got to sing 3 part harmony with @mavisstaples and bestie @norahjones on a track Pete Remm wrote. Aces…. but we lost that year to the late great @john_prine 💯❤️ Oh well next one!! Believe it or not I’m the highest voice singing 3 part! Dig the chicken🎙️
When the music legend @philthornalley (The Cure, Natalie Imbruglia, Johnny Hates Jazz) and bestie golden throat @caseysheamusic lends his writing and singing to a record you know it’s gonna be rad! Inspired sonically by a Weezer-ish rock palate its def lives in a killer rock tone zone. .They even allowed old Wes Chester (me) to sing some harmonies. They wrote some beautiful tunes that immediately sound like classics! Standouts I like are ‘Freak Boutique’ ‘Arnold’ and ‘Summer Looks Good On You’ but they are solid🤘🏻 Nice one fellas!
1517 Circle Court, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464. The house I was born in (modern pic) but this is where I grew up until I was a teenager. Skateboarding in that culdesac , soccer in the backyard, and magical neighbor hood friends building forts . Cut my teeth on life and love here and will always hold a special place for me. I’m so grateful for my mom and dad and all they’ve ever provided and guided me with. They are rock solid for me and so many and hopefully my apple didn’t fall far from their tree❤️🤘🏻🙏🏻
