We believe great communities are built with intention.
Our masterplanned communities are designed to be more than places to live, they’re neighbourhoods where people can connect, gather, and build their everyday lives. From homes and public spaces to local businesses, parks, and community amenities, every element is thoughtfully considered to support a strong sense of place.
Great neighbourhoods are defined by the people, experiences, and connections that bring them to life. That’s why creating walkable, connected, and vibrant communities continues to guide how we plan and build.
#ad It’s one thing to walk through a space for 15 minutes, but it’s another to wake up there, grab coffee downstairs, bop around the neighbourhood, come back, and unwind 😌
@wesgroup ’s “Try Before You Buy” program at ACE on Commercial Drive gives you the opportunity to really picture your life there. With well-designed homes and a walkable neighbourhood all around you, it’s the best way to get a real feel for living at ACE.

Meet Rabih! 👋
Rabih Zahnan is the President of Wesgroup Contracting, bringing a thoughtful and innovative approach to construction leadership.
With a background in engineering and experience working in the technology sector, Rabih brings a unique perspective to construction, one rooted in adaptability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Since joining Wesgroup in 2023, Rabih has helped lead our teams with a focus on integrity, collaboration, and challenging conventional thinking. What resonates most with him is Wesgroup’s willingness to evolve, embrace new ideas, and approach challenges with curiosity and continuous improvement.
As we recognize #ConstructionSafetyWeek, Rabih’s perspective is an important reminder that strong safety cultures are built through the actions we take every day, through accountability, communication, and a shared commitment to doing things the right way.
We’re grateful for Rabih’s leadership and the role he plays in shaping how we build across our organization. #MeetTheTeam
This #ConstructionSafetyWeek, we’re reinforcing what safety means at Wesgroup and why it matters.
As our teams and projects continue to grow, so does our responsibility to ensure safety is embedded in everything we do. The Wesgroup Safety Standard reflects that evolution, grounded in accountability, shaped by experience, and strengthened through leadership at every level.
This is not a campaign or a moment in time. It’s a commitment to how we operate every day, through the decisions we make, the conversations we have, and the way we look out for one another. Culture isn’t built through programs alone; it’s built through consistent actions and a shared responsibility to do the right thing.
Safety is also about the communities we’re building. From how we design and construct our projects to how they perform over time, we’re focused on creating places that are safe, resilient, and built with care for the people who will live there.
Everyone plays a role. Whether on site or in the office, safety is a shared responsibility, shaped by how we speak up, support one another, and take ownership in our day-to-day work.
At its core, it comes down to something simple: keeping people safe, both on our sites and in the communities we build.

Welcome inside Royce and Jenna’s home at One Fifty Braid.
From slow mornings with coffee and sunrise views to cozy evenings unwinding on the couch with their pup, Hugo, their home is designed as a place to reset and recharge. Thoughtful details, playful touches, and pops of colour bring personality into every corner.
For Royce and Jenna, home is about balance, a space that feels both elevated and lived-in, where creativity meets comfort.
At the end of the day, home is where you can truly unwind.
Last week was #WesgroupCaresWeek, a dedicated time to give back to the communities where we live and work.
Throughout the week, our team came together to volunteer with a number of impactful organizations. We spent time at The Happy Herd Farm Sanctuary (@TheHappyHerd ) supporting cleanup and painting, worked alongside Habitat for Humanity (@Habitat.GV ) on landscaping and build efforts, supported Dress for Success (@DFSVancouver ) by organizing, merchandising, and preparing donations, and partnered with Health Initiative for Men (@InstaHIM ) to assemble health kits.
Each experience offered a meaningful way to connect, contribute, and support the diverse communities we’re proud to be part of.
As Wesgroup Cares Week continues to grow, we remain committed to creating opportunities for our team to give back and engage with causes that matter. These moments continue to be a highlight for our team, strengthening not only the communities around us, but the connections within them.
At Wesgroup, safety is our top priority. Today, we join workplaces across Canada in observing the National Day of Mourning, a day dedicated to remembering those who have lost their lives or suffered serious injury or illness due to workplace incidents.
The #DayofMourning is not only a time of reflection, but also a call to action. Each year, workers in British Columbia lose their lives due to workplace injury or disease. These are not just statistics; they are reminders of why our commitment to safety must remain constant and unwavering.
Today, we take a moment to reflect, remember, and reaffirm our responsibility to protect the health and safety of everyone on our team. Honouring this day is part of our broader commitment to not only build communities, but to create safe, supportive environments for the people who bring them to life.
This #EarthDay, we’re reflecting on the steps we’re taking to reduce our environmental impact across our projects.
In 2025, we diverted approximately 1,800 tonnes of construction waste from the landfill, achieving a 77% diversion rate across our sites. Through partnerships like our work with @Renewal_Development , we’re also finding new ways to extend the life of materials, including relocating homes from our Inlet District site to support a more circular approach to housing.
We’ve also prioritized lower-carbon construction, using over 63,000 m³ of low carbon concrete between 2021 and 2025, resulting in an estimated 7,650 tonnes of CO₂e emissions reduced.
Progress like this is made possible through collaboration across our teams and partners, and it’s an important part of how we’re working to build more responsibly for the future.
We had a great time hosting our W16 x La Marzocco event.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, it was a thoughtfully curated morning of coffee, conversation, and design. Pairing expertly brewed espresso with the architecture of W16 by Olson Kundig, it offered a unique way to experience the space.
We’re grateful to our partner @LaMarzoccoCanada for helping bring the event to life.
Have you heard the news?
We’ve launched a new program at our recently completed project ACE on Commercial Drive called “Try Before You Buy.”
This program gives selected prospective buyers the opportunity to spend a weekend in one of our homes before deciding whether to purchase.
It may sound unconventional, but with so much to experience at ACE and along Commercial Drive, we wanted to give people the chance to truly get a feel for the home and the neighbourhood before making a decision.
Read more about it on CTV News, the Vancouver Sun, BC Business, and the Daily Hive.
#ad Imagine being able to try living in a space before you actually buy it…
@wesgroup invited us to spend time at their recently completed project, ACE on Commercial Drive, where we got a true feel for what life in the neighbourhood is like. It gave us a real sense of everyday living here and the best part is, you can experience it too.
If you’re curious about ACE or life on the Drive, reach out to @wesgroupsalesteam and ask about Try Before You Buy!
You know it’s a busy season when cranes are up everywhere.
