“Ask Gordon what lies at the heart of Carolina Herrera’s unique appeal and he doesn’t miss a beat. ‘It’s an unapologetic, unashamed embrace of pretty,’ he explains.
Every piece bearing the Carolina Herrera label ‘is a promise of something beautiful.
We certainly don’t think that’s a bad word.
I seek pretty. I chase pretty. That’s what I think of when I’m in fittings: how can I make this as beautiful as possible for the woman who is going to wear it?’”
The Herrera Fall 2026 collection was inspired by women in the arts. Painters, sculptors, photographers, curators, collectors, and gallerists. A community of brilliant women making the world more interesting and beautiful through creative self-expression.
I am extremely grateful to the seven brilliant women in the arts who agreed to walk in the show and bring the collection to life. I couldn’t think of anything scarier than being asked to do this and I am still in awe that they said ‘yes’. Amy Sherald, Anh Duong, Eliza Douglas, Flora Currin, Hannah Traore, Ming Smith, and Rachel Feinstein, thank you for your courage, beauty, and talent. To muralist Sarah Oliphant, thank you for the gorgeous mural that wrapped our set.
It takes a village of hardworking and talented people to create a collection and make a show like this a reality. I am hugely thankful to everyone who is a part of the extended Herrera family and, of course, the eternal muse, Carolina herself.
