We are thrilled to announce our latest development – a master-plan community on transit in Port Coquitlam. We’ve just submitted our rezoning application to the City of Port Coquitlam for a six tower, nearly 2,000 home community at Lougheed Highway and Westwood Street. The project will be the City’s first transit-oriented, high rise development and will contribute a significant amount of new housing to the area, including condo, rental, and non-market affordable.   The plan would transform the existing suburban Poco Place shopping centre into a complete, 8.4 acre community with new retail, a new childcare facility, outdoor amenity space and and the preservation of an existing seven storey office building. This project will bring people together, creating spaces for people to connect and gather and opportunities for people to meet – whether it’s in the amenities or the local grocery store or the pedestrian mews that will be a key feature of the site. Wesbild has been developing land and homes in the Tri-Cities for over 40 years, and this will be an exciting addition to our commercial and residential portfolio.
