To date one of my toughest fights.
A lot was on the line & I had to overcome some adversity to not only get the opportunity but try get a fair shake in someone else’s back yard.
Shaggy hadn’t been beaten in Australia & at the time only had one loss. He split me from arse hole to breakfast, elbowing me more than anyone has ever done. Also giving more stitches than anyone else.
The ole cliche coach speech heading into the last round.
“Cap, we need a big round son. It’s close & we aren’t getting a decision here. Dig deep, this round isn’t for us, the crowd or TV.
It’s for you, go out there enjoy it & have fun.
