This workshop focused on understanding when to use restorative responses in both low-harm and high-harm situations, and how educators can guide students through reflection and accountability.

Restore More partnered with Teach For America at Smokerise Elementary for an interactive restorative practices workshop.
Educators participated in activities and conversations focused on:
• Building classroom culture through respect, accountability, empathy, and healing
• Learning how restorative circles repair harm and rebuild trust
• Identifying the right responses for student behavior situations
The engagement and collaboration in the room showed how powerful these practices can be when educators come together to learn and reflect.

Feeling super grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Smokerise Elementary! They had a unique situation where two schools were merged into one, which called for a lot of adjustment and pivoting. I’m so happy to have had the opportunity to help them navigate this change through our workshops on restorative practices. I’m also grateful to have met all the teachers and faculty that work hard to make classrooms a nurturing environment everyday.
