Designed to achieve maximum volume with minimal material, Matilda reflects a conscious approach to design where every resource is used with intention.
Distinguished with the “Sello de Buen Diseño Argentino” this piece stands out for its efficient use of material, reduced impact system, and seamless integration of light and form.
The story behind the pendant: Renata
Designed by Norberto Dabini in 2006, Renata has become one of Weplight’s icons, and the most chosen one. Still, each piece feels entirely its own.
What began as a single design gradually evolved into a system.
Today, Renata exists in 22 variations of shape and size, and can be personalized in nearly 10,000 different finishes.
Timeless by nature, its form holds a quiet presence bringing warmth, depth, and a sense of balance.
Each Renata is hancrafted to become a unique design and reflect the essence of the spaces it inhabits.
Meet the designers: a new story unfolds
For Marcos Terra Medina, design is not about defining form, but discovering it.
Born in Buenos Aires in 1987, he is a lighting designer and artist whose work brings together woodworking, metalworking, and visual arts. Not as separate disciplines, but as part of an ongoing exploration of process and making.
He joined Weplight in 2012, where he developed a practice rooted in experimentation and attention to material. His approach is guided by constant exploration and the interplay of light and shadow.
Marcos is the creative mind behind some of Weplight’s most recognizable pieces, including Camila, Delfina, Julieta, Inés, Cala, Alba, and Carlotta, each one redefining the relationship between light, form, and space.
This is his way of working with light, transforming each piece into a functional work of art.
The story continues, exploring the minds behind the designs.

Camila 78 Ash / Ebony
Defined by dynamic curves and a sculptural presence, Camila becomes part of a carefully composed interior shaping an atmosphere that feels like home at @theflatstc
Victoria 110 Ebony / Natural Acoustic
This pendant explores the dialogue between light, material and space.
Its form emerges from a series of precise cuts that allow the wood to curve in two directions, creating a soft dome-like shape that defines the piece
In its acoustic version, the interior felt helps absorb sound, contributing to a calmer and more balanced atmosphere.
