Thank you to all who helped at Murray Park this Morning. A couple of rare Egyptian geese with their newly hatched chicks found themselves stuck in the playground, a bit far from the river and very distressed. A big thank you to @theswansanctuary who answered our calls for help (and @londonwildlifeprotection who gave me their number) they knew exactly what to do and with their guidance we were able to walk the geese back to the Duke of Northumberland river. So lovely to see the comunity pull together to help this little family and as we walked along the road, traffic stopped to let us go by. To the volunteers from the Swan Sanctuary, I am so grateful you came out, on a bank holiday too. Happy Easter All! 🐥
