Ein Blick zurück – und Weltformat im Wandel. Die Ausstellung «Weltformat Weltformat» brachte bisherige Festivalplakate in einen neuen Dialog: keine reine Archivschau, sondern eine kuratierte Reflexion darüber, was Gestaltung auslösen kann – und was bestehen bleibt, wenn sich ein Format weiterentwickelt. Zugleich markierte sie eine Premiere: die erste 24-Stunden-Ausstellung von Weltformat – offen, im Prozess, ganz im Sinne von «Under Construction». A look back – and Weltformat in transition. The exhibition “Weltformat Weltformat” brought previous festival posters into a new dialogue: not a mere archival display, but a curated reflection on what design can provoke – and what remains when a format evolves. Die Ausstellung Formato Cantonale beleuchtete die grafische Landschaft des Tessins innerhalb der sozio-kulturellen Vielfalt der Schweiz. Sie thematisierte, wie geografische und sprachliche Besonderheiten zur Entstehung eines teilweise isolierten kulturellen Kontexts beitrugen. Gezeigt wurden Arbeiten von Grafikdesigner:innen aus dem Tessin, die zur Reflexion über zentrale Fragen des Berufs anregten: über Zugehörigkeit, Chancen und Weiterentwicklung. Das Projekt verstand sich als Dialog zwischen Generationen und Regionen – ein Beitrag zur Erforschung einer vielschichtigen gestalterischen Realität. ——— The exhibition Formato Cantonale shed light on the graphic landscape of Ticino within Switzerland’s socio-cultural diversity. It explored how geographical and linguistic particularities contributed to the formation of a partly isolated cultural context. The show presented works by graphic designers from Ticino that invited reflection on key questions of the profession: belonging, opportunity, and development. Die Ausstellung zeigte die prämierten Bücher des internationalen Wettbewerbs «Schönste Bücher aus aller Welt». Präsentiert wurden das mit der Goldenen Letter ausgezeichnete Gewinnerbuch und dreizehn weitere Publikationen. Der Wettbewerb ermöglichte einen Vergleich von Buchgestaltung, technischer Qualität und Ästhetik über nationale Grenzen hinweg. The exhibition presented the awarded books from the international competition Most Beautiful Books from All Over the World. On display were the Golden Letter winner and thirteen other publications. Bachelorarbeiten aus Schweizer Designhochschulen standen im Mittelpunkt der Ausstellung «Tour de Suisse». Gezeigt wurden aktuelle Fragestellungen, unterschiedliche gestalterische Ansätze und Positionen junger Grafikdesigner*innen. ———— Bachelor projects from Swiss design universities were at the center of the exhibition Tour de Suisse.
