We’re excited to announce we have a new Mother’s Room at the church! It is located upstairs directly behind the sanctuary balcony, and we are loving how it’s coming together so far.
Our vision for this space is to create a warm and welcoming room for moms and little ones. One special way we hope to do that is by filling the walls with photos of babies from our church family. If you would like your child included, we would love for you to send us a newborn photo to display in the room.
Mothers are welcome to use this space anytime during services or events — our hope is that you feel comfortable, cared for, and at home here. We also plan to provide a few snacks, water, and toys for moms and littles to enjoy.

“Children are a gift from the Lord.” — Psalm 127:3 🤍
It was so wonderful to be in the house of the Lord celebrating the mothers and women of our church this Sunday!
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be spotlighting missions connected to our church, and we were so grateful to welcome Mikala and Alan Bagambe from Uganda to share about their ministry there. Their newest call to ministry is with 10,000 Hands. Their mission is to come alongside children in need through education, mentorship, and by raising up Godly men to lead their homes and communities well.
They shared how thankful they are for the prayers and support from our church family and the incredible ways they are seeing lives transformed and people giving their hearts to Jesus.
Alan also shared a beautiful reminder from Luke 10 — when Jesus tells Martha that only one thing is necessary: to sit at His feet. When we spend time with Jesus, we come to know His heart, His deep love for us, and the promises He has for our lives. May we continue to be people with hearts fully surrendered to Jesus.
Thank you Mikala and Alan for sharing with us. If you would like to support their mission work, you can give here: /en-US/donation-form/mikala-bagambe-bradbury-mission-support
Save the date for a Summer Worship and Baptism Remembrance Night in the courtyard on Sunday, May 24th at 6:30pm.
Bring an instrument if you have one (and if you don’t, no worries—still bring your voice) as we gather together for a night of worship and community.
We’ll also have a special time set aside for remembering baptism. There will be an opportunity for anyone who would like to share their baptism story—what led them to dedicate their life to Jesus—then take part in remembering their baptism through full immersion in the water. For those who are ready to take that next step, we’ll also have the opportunity for first-time baptisms!
Come expectant and ready to worship together!
We are so excited for Mother’s Day and look forward to celebrating the incredible women and mothers in our church family! 💐
Join us in the Fellowship Hall between services starting at 9:45am for a special brunch, then stay for our 11am service as our very own girls band leads us in worship!
Whether you’re a mom, grandmother, or someone who has lovingly cared for others, we look forward to celebrating with you this Sunday!

Sunday’s message from Psalm 25 was a powerful reminder to place our trust in the Lord—especially in the midst of life’s hardest moments.
We are so thankful to Scotlyn Ewing for courageously sharing her testimony. Vulnerability isn’t easy, and we’re grateful she followed the Holy Spirit’s leading to share her story. Her journey reminded us that we are not meant to walk through struggles alone. God often meets us through the support of family and our church family—but most importantly, through the steady presence of Jesus.
Even in her lowest moments, Scotlyn experienced God’s peace—a peace that surpasses all understanding. She held onto the truth of Romans 8:28, trusting that God is working all things for good. Additional scripture affirmations Anna Chua gave her will be shared in the comments for anyone who may need them.
If you are carrying something heavy, you are not alone. Your church family is here for you and wants to walk alongside you. You can reach out to Pastor Isaac or Robin Norris, our prayer team leader, or submit a prayer request here:

Yesterday we continued in our series Prayers for an Anxious Heart with a focus on Psalm 42.
The Psalms remind us that it’s okay to bring our raw emotions before God. Even in seasons of sorrow and struggle, we can trust that God has never forsaken His people.
A powerful theme from Psalm 42 is intentional remembrance—looking back on God’s past faithfulness becomes the bridge that carries us through present darkness. Writing down the times God has come through for you can be a powerful reminder, especially when walking through a valley.
Because of Jesus, even the shadow of death is not the end—it is the entrance into glory. There is light because Jesus is alive and has conquered death.
“My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.” Hardships can be reframed as a catalyst for deeper longing—drawing us into greater dependence on Him and less reliance on ourselves. May our souls continue to thirst for the living God as we learn to trust Him more each day.
We are getting so excited for our 30th Anniversary Celebration for KCC!!
Join us at 11am during 2nd service on Sunday, April 26th. We would love for all former and current kids and volunteers to be there! Make sure to stay after for lunch as we fellowship together and share memories of all that God has done through KCC over the years. You won't want to miss this special day (puppy chow included 😋)!
