Last week, our teams held their season kicks off get-togethers across Paris, Madrid and Antwerp, bringing together more than 80 team members before the season kicks off for Europe’s biggest events.
🏐 Beach volleyball, virtual reality games and a barbecue gave our teams the chance to share stories from previous years and wish each other a great season ahead!

🎓 Inspiring the next generation of event professionals
Last week, we delivered 2 sessions for event and project management students at @vives_international , covering key industry challenges and what is shaping the future of event tech.
From real on-site experiences to open discussions, it was a great moment to exchange perspectives and give a closer look at how events come together behind the scenes.
💬 The engagement in the room and the positive feedback made it a genuinely rewarding experience for everyone involved.

☀️ Final stretch before summer
From Paris to Antwerp, our offices welcomed over 50 crew members for hands-on training, reinforcing the teams already in place.
Devices, back office, workflows, best practices… everything they need to support organisers on the ground.
🚀 Now, it’s time to kick off the season.
🏔️ Cold, altitude, crowds: a full-scale warm-up ahead of the summer season
Our teams wrapped up in parkas and beanies to support 2 events where stages and bars sit high in the mountains:
🇫🇷 @tomorrowlandwinter in Alpe d’Huez, 2,000m altitude
🇦🇹 @snowbombingofficial in Mayrhofen, 633m altitude
Sub-zero temperatures, splashes of drinks and food, the conditions didn’t get the better of our setup.
🚀 Our fleet of more than 800 devices deployed on-site, held strong, allowing cashless payments and access control across multiple zones to run smoothly over 12 cumulative days.

🚀 3 major cashless deployments in Latin America by Weezevent local licensees.
On 14–15 March, #WeezPay was used simultaneously across three of the region’s largest festivals, with one shared objective: enabling fast, reliable payments tailored to local requirements.
🇲🇽 @vivelatino in Mexico: 150,000 attendees over 2 days
🇨🇱 @lollapaloozachile : 240,000 attendees over 3 days
🇨🇷 @picnicfest in Costa Rica: 30,000 attendees
From online top-ups using local payment methods to on-site top-up stations, tipping and virtual currencies, this demonstrates how our technology adapts smoothly to different contexts.
Great work by Toyfa, our Licensees Manager, who works closely with each partner to support these deployments and help deliver robust, large-scale operations.
🎟️ 100 MILLION TICKETS SOLD
10 years ago, Weezevent sold 30,000 tickets in France over the span of a year.
Today, that’s what the group processes in a single day, across Europe, with @weeztix and @kaboodle .
To put that into perspective: that same volume was sold in just 30 minutes for a @ye concert.
Reaching this point says a lot about what we’ve built over the years:

Two days in Berlin filled with hellos, reunions, new faces, and a whole lot of inspiration for the year ahead. The festival industry never stands still — and neither did our stand ⚡️
This edition was extra special, as we presented ourselves for the first time ever as the Weezevent 𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙥, with our full 360° event solution under one roof: Ticketing, Cashless, Access, Crew & CRM.
Highlight of the event: our 🥂🧀 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙣𝙚 & 𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙮, which was so packed that we ran out of champagne faster than expected…

After two full days of speaking with clients, prospects and partners alongside @weeztix , the 2025 edition of @future_of_festivals has come to a close.
💙 To everyone who came by our stand last week: thank you! These conversations matter. They give us a clearer view of what you expect from your tools and how important it is for you to have ticketing, access and cashless working together as one.

💙 Last week, on Thursday, we welcomed the fourth edition of the WeezDays #Crew to our offices!
A day designed to bring together volunteer and accreditation coordinators to share their challenges, practices and real-world experience.
💡 Through talks, workshops and open conversations, we explored essential topics for the community: how to attract and retain volunteers, protect personal data, create personalised documents, automate on-site procedures and strengthen accreditation workflows.
We also covered trail organisation, preparing for an URSSAF inspection, and heard valuable insights from the teams behind @hellfestopenair , the @francofolieseschalzette and several major sporting and cultural events.
👏 A warm thank you to all speakers for the quality of their contributions, and to all organisers who joined us for their energy and commitment.

Last month, our team reunited for the Season Closing Party, celebrating the success of an extraordinary summer season across Europe.
