WEEKENDWORKER
WeekendWorker Ceramics Studio is a small team of creatives with a shared passion for pottery, and their weekends are dedicated to bringing that love to life. Inspired by the desire to slow down, step away from the digital world, and work with their hands, they’ve created a space where creativity and community come together.
They’ve built this space with the same flexibility and accessibility they wished for when they were starting out. Their goal is to create a welcoming studio where anyone — from complete beginners to seasoned makers — can discover ceramics.

✨ The spirit of giving continues this 6 & 7 December at Kreta Ayer. ✨
As part of “60 Lights, One Future”, our neighbours are rallying together to raise funds for the @sgredcross Young Hearts Programme - helping underprivileged children in Singapore with education, enrichment and nutrition. ❤️
Each of these small businesses has chosen to give back - donating a portion of their weekend sales to the cause. When you drop by, try an activity, or make a purchase, you’re helping to keep this circle of kindness going. 💛
Here’s the next batch of our neighbours joining the trail 👇
• The Field Notes – 10% off total bill
• Weekend Worker – Festive ceramic painting workshop (15-20 min, $30)
• Will & Well – “How Fast Can You Dress?” wheelchair challenge, embroidery service (from $1–$10), and free embroidery cap capped at $5 with any purchase
• PushPullGive – 10% off Reformer Trial Pack, 2-week trial at $99
• Big Bad Wolf Barbershop – 10% off all walk-in or pre-booked appointments
• Hok San Association – Guided shophouse tour, lion dance demo, hands-on drumming and lion dance experience for kids and adults alike
Every stamp you collect and every visit you make goes a long way. This is how community giving looks - joyful, meaningful and shared. 🌟

How fast a year has gone by! We’re back at @singaporeclayfestival with works from our latest developments and pieces from our friends!
Come swing by table C22 and say hi!
A new start. A new look!
Dear friends of WeekendWorker, We’re thrilled to announce that our new studio is almost ready, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back! It's a cosy space, but big enough to fit all your hearts and ideas😉
Story time-
Eight months into our new space, we got hit with a blow: our landlord had been defaulting on the mortgage. We’d been paying rent every month, but it meant nothing. The bank seized the place and gave us two weeks to pack up. As a weekend-only studio, we couldn't afford another round of renovations or deposits.
So we boxed it all up and went into storage.
In the chaos of it, relationships cracked, negotiations failed. We separated from our partner studio, and honestly, we thought that was the end of the brand we built.
But then friends, customers and the community kept asking: “Where will y’all go next?”
That gave us the push to try again with what we had left. After months of searching (and so many favours), we’re back. A community-based brand, not looking to earn millions - just enough to have a space to share, practice and sip coffee.
Thank you for all your support during this period.
WeekendWorker. Coming soon at Maxwell.
Happy Year of the sssSnake!
We'll be soaking in the festivities from 27 to 31 Jan. Clayground open studio and workshops will resume on 1st February! 恭喜发财!
