JAN 24/25
It’s All Gonna Break Canadian Premiere. (Info in my bio)
This film was 20ish years in the making, and I had the opportunity to jump in on the last year to edit it together.
Swipe right to familiarize yourself with the director/ DOP: Stephen Chung and writer Andrea Menzies. Mentally prepare yourself to overwhelm them with some love at the cinema. Say it’s from me.
They’ve earned a party, so let’s give it to them.
Tickets/ trailer available in my bio. Jan 24 is almost sold out, Jan 25 still has availability.

Hey all!
A film that was a long time in the making premieres in Toronto on January 24 & 25. I had the opportunity to be the editor of the film, as well as one of the writers. It’s a film about a group of friends that made music together & a boy named @stephendchung who thought it’d be a good idea to film it all. Broken Social Scene is just a name that represents a group of people who’s paths crossed. They hit the Canadian indie music scene pretty hard in the early 2000s, with collaborations from other groups like Feist, Metric, Do Make Say Think, Jason Colette, Apostle of Hustle (just to name a few). Amongst those groups were a forest of other groups, with roots in their hometown, and branches across a continent. It is so much like your friends playing music today.
Working on this film made me recognize the synchronicities in the world that tie us together. Often in music, they’re disguised behind a symbolic name, the mask behind is simply: people.
You Forgot It In People is the album that celebrated it’s 20th year at the end of the film. The people in the film are still going. So to celebrate, Stephen captured a bit of light and sound & we cut it together into 94 minutes for you to enjoy.
Friends, colleagues and strangers, I’d like to invite you to celebrate the film on the big screen. There is a link in my bio to purchase tickets and watch the trailer.

ALL ARE WELCOME!!!
Earlier this year I started a new documentary journey of Equine sorts. Horses, as we know them, have carried humanity to where we are today. As machines took over, their human-centric purpose shifted as well. Swipe to see me filming some of Alberta’s wild horses. (Yes, Canada has wild horses).
Cheers to one of my collaborators @debragarsidephotography for the sneaky pics. She’s a pro - check out her page.
