somewhere between a dinner party and a love letter to japanese design
from the very beginning, i knew i wanted this evening to feel intentional. layered textures, rich colors, delicate details, movement, warmth… all inspired by the beauty and artistry woven throughout japanese culture. every piece was meant to feel like an experience, not just a table setting.
and then
@jamesonhilldesigns took the vision in my head and somehow made it even better. the paper goods, the menus, the tiny thoughtful touches… she went above and beyond in every possible way and brought this entire concept to life so beautifully.
it was such an honor planning this evening for
@emergeeventcollective and our east coast members. being welcomed with such open arms by such creative, kind, insanely talented people has been one of the most rewarding feelings. truly just a room full of the coolest humans doing what they do best.
also forever emotional over the fact that I get to create nights like this for a living??? insane.
so grateful for our content team for capturing it all so perfectly my sweet Jesse, Zac and Jason. the energy, the details, the feeling of the night. still not over it 🥹
