We have been made aware of scammers who claim to represent various recruitment agencies approaching individuals and directing them to an unauthorized WE Communications website for recruitment and payment solicitation. WE Communications Singapore will never recruit and request payments through WhatsApp, social media messages or unofficial email addresses. This matter is currently being investigated by the Singapore Police Force. If you have been approached by these scammers, we strongly encourage you to file a police report. The security of our community is our highest priority. We are treating this matter with utmost urgency and will provide updates as the situation develops.

WE celebrates Juneteenth, which marks the long-awaited freedom for about 250,000 people who still were enslaved in June 1865 in Texas. Let’s remember the nation’s past and work toward a more just future. A little history: On Jan. 1, 1863, U.S. President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation, but not every enslaved person was instantly free. Word of freedom finally officially arrived in the Confederate state of Texas on June 19, 1865, when Union troops marching across the South came to Galveston to deliver the news. This day came to be known as Juneteenth. #Juneteenth #Endracism

As we mark Pride Month, we celebrate the many strides that the LGBTQIA+ community has made in the U.S. and also note the many challenges they face amid a rising tide of discrimination. Let’s be strong allies and stand together against hate, this year and every year. #pride2024

In honor of Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage Month, WE has donated to two impressive organizations that support the AANHPI community: the Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS), a Seattle-based nonprofit that provides health, social, and civic services to Asian and Pacific Islanders, and The Asian American Foundation (@taaforg ), a national organization that funds and advocates for AANHPI-focused organizations and issues. WE is proud to support the AANHPI community. ⁣ ⁣ #AANHPIMonth

May is Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in the U.S., marking two milestones in Asian/Pacific American history: the arrival of the first Japanese immigrants in the U.S. (May 7, 1843) and the completion of the transcontinental railroad (May 10, 1869). WE Communications is grateful to our amazing Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander team members in the U.S. and around the globe who contribute to the success of our company. We celebrate their rich and diverse heritage, their impressive achievements and their vital place in our communities. #aanhpi

As we honor #WomensHistoryMonth, we're reminded of the ongoing journey toward gender equality and justice worldwide. That’s why WE is donating to two non-profits focused on supporting and empowering women, as chosen by our WE people: • Equality Now, working to achieve legal and systemic change that addresses violence and discrimination against women and girls around the world, • BlackFem, focused on closing the race and gender wealth gap by maximizing the wealth building capabilities of Black women and girls, their families, and their communities. We’re proud to support these incredible organizations and the vital work that they do to help us move towards a more equitable future.

We’re proud to honor and celebrate the rich culture and historic impact of the Black community this Black History Month and all year round. WE recognizes that many continue to endure systemic inequalities and is committed to working toward dismantling those barriers. Together, we can build a just and inclusive future.
