Join us at the Border Heritage Museum this Saturday from 10-4pm for a full day of celebrating our beautiful city. We’ll be on site block printing tote bags! First come, first serve until we run out. Feel free to bring your own light-colored tote and/or t-shirt to get printed!

On Wednesday, May 6, the @officialcityoflaredo kicked off the summer season with the unveiling of the 🌞 2026 Sunny Adventures Guide 🌞
Created by the Public Information Office in collaboration with numerous city departments, the guide highlights free and low-cost programs, events, and activities available throughout the summer for residents of all ages. From Parks & Recreation and public libraries to El Metro’s “Kids on the Go!” program, the guide showcases the many ways families can stay active, creative, and connected this summer in Laredo.

We were happy to be part of @visitlaredotx 's Destination Training Program during National Travel and Tourism Week 🧳✈️🌎
On Thursday, May 7, participants joined us for a make-your-own postcard activity at the Border Heritage Museum and a historic walking tour around Downtown, including the Republic of the Rio Grande Museum, to learn more about the history, culture, and places that make Laredo special.
Programs like this help create stronger connections between our community and the visitors who come to experience our city.
