How do we experience and share the city without flattening spaces into “tourist spots”?
Byaheng Puerto Princesa is our attempt to do it with care, alongside the people who live and work here.
Built for locals first, then shared gently and intentionally.

Through a community ecosystem model, we can foster holistic development together as local communities. 🌱
A community ecosystem is a model of interweaving local communities together through collective actions that work for the local living economy. By connecting and centering social and cultural practices at the local level, it fosters holistic wellbeing and community exchange as we learn and develop skills together.

Introducing Weaving Ecosystems 🍀
Weaving Ecosystems is an initiative to weave community-based ecosystems of sustainable commerce in the local living economy born from the seeds of collaboration between @binhimindfulmarket & @rurunganph .
We connect, collaborate, and build capacities among local, small-scale practitioners who keep sustainable enterprise and community-based cultures alive.

A circle of creatives is gathering in Puerto Princesa this April 18 — and it is not a seminar.
Design Kwentuhan Session 3: Ginhawa in Action brings three practitioners from across the Philippines to Rurungan Compound for an honest conversation about what it means to create from ease. From who you actually are. From where you actually come from.
Three speakers. Three kwentos. One circle.
- Onix (Astrolikha Creative Spaces, Cavite) on building outside the center.
- Beth Talac (Tau't Batu cultural entrepreneur) on sovereignty.
- Marie Tabangay (Cuyo, web designer) on healing.
FREE. Open to all creatives. Slots are limited.

Sinta at Sining, last February 15th, celebrated Palawan art, culture, and community. This was our most art-filled market since we started 8 years ago.
In celebration of National Arts Month, we hosted immersive installations, art exhibits, music, poetry, and creative workshops that truly allowed Palawenyo creatives to play, express, and share their crafts. We witnessed such magical moments! 💫☄️
