Amelia Earhart was ridden out by Ryan Moore to land the Listed Weatherbys Cheshire Oaks @chesterraces this afternoon.
Well done to Ryan who was enjoying an eighth success in this race - and it was a tenth victory in the race for the filly’s trainer Aidan O’Brien.
Many congratulations to the winning owners - and it was great to have Paul Smith and Kevin Buckley on hand to receive the trophies.

Five fillies have been declared for Wednesday’s Weatherbys Cheshire Oaks @chesterraces - the quintet are headed by current Oaks @epsomdownsracecourse favourite, I’m The One (pic), who ran out a hugely impressive winner on debut @newburyracecourse .
Aidan O’Brien saddles the current second favourite for the Oaks in Amelia Earhart and also Sugar Island.
Ralph Beckett’s Newbury winner A La Prochaine and Andrew Balding’s Winged One complete the line up.
Last year’s race was won by subsequent the Oaks @EpsomRacecourse , Irish Oaks and Yorkshire Oaks heroine, Minnie Hauk.
